“Tried recreating the nostalgic 90s private bus stand of Kalyankulam, Kerala, using watercolors (Winsor & Newton) on Strathmore 400 Series paper (300 gsm, 18×24 inches). Usually, such depth isn’t necessary for watercolor paintings, but since this is a recreation of a real place—based purely on memory without any photo reference—I wanted to capture the essence as accurately as possible.”
